AIRef team

The team have been together for ages. Certainly much, much longer than AIReference by YELLOW project has been arround. It was a hobby, then a serious hobby, than more then a hobby. Look at us now..

Davor.Petra.jpg

Davor, do-it-all guy

Here with his favourite daughter Petra, enjoying espresso at Café Hawelka in Wienna. Some time ago he decided the audiophilia pricing went long past the enough-is-enough point. The hi-end components we use in our systems, should be accessible to all, not limited exclusive to fat bankrolls.

Paula, looks arbiter

Here with Davor on the sloping deck in Croatian Adriatic coastal waters. She is the judge of what do our builds look like. Are they aestheticaly admissible? What to do to get that premium first impression presentation of the product. This has been female prerogative throughout the history.

Andrej.jpg

Andrej, logistics

Petra's brother, the wizzard at keeping track of all the things moving through the world. He makes sure things start the journey at the right times, navigate the transportation routes without getting stuck, and timely deliver to AIRef production. This looks easy untill one tries it himself

KK.jpg

Miro, auditioner

An old and valued friend. Has a good revealing system, and lives in a neighbouring town in Slovenia. Has golden ears, can hear minute performance changes. He is willing to help with cable design options evaluation any time, day or night. We have been enjoying the hoby together for 50 years now.

Danny.jpg

Danny, verdict on performance

Here Youtube-ing on AIRef speaker cables. He has thoroughly checked-out several AIRef speaker cable generations. Final verdict on gen.2 ones: Not for less-than-top-end systems. Gen.2 cables will reveal any and all system misgivings. The misgiving-free ones will shine as never before though.

Cathy.jpg

Cathy, 3D print faciliator

She makes possible the development of cable structural members. The 3D design gives birth to many 3D model versions. The designer always kicks off with an approximation, refines it, refines some more, eventually arriving at the appropriate solution. Cathy transmutes all these 3D models to parts.

Lukas.jpg

Lukas, 3D structures assembly

Lukas attends college and plays in the band. When schedule allows, he also assembles 3D cable support structures. That is some precision work with very small parts. Calls for good eyes and steady hands.
